This tour will begin with an overview of the city’s attractions so we can share what are a “must see” during your stay in our great city.
Trek through the mighty Wascana, the largest man-made urban park in North America, dug by hand in the early 1900’s and beautified in 2005 to host the Canada Summer Games. Always within Wascana Centre, discover: the Royal Saskatchewan Museum, the Canada Saskatchewan Film Productions Studios, Wascana Place, the Conexus Arts Centre, the MacKenzie Art Gallery, the Saskatchewan Legislative Building, the University of Regina Campus, and the one of its kind First Nations University of Canada. En route to the world renowned RCMP Heritage Centre, check out trendy Cathedral Village with its many shopping opportunities and prodigious Government House.
Dinner and inside tour await us at the RCMP Heritage Centre. Visit the centre’s ample galleries, learn more about Canada’s renowned police academy, see first hand artifacts explaining the history of the Mounties and wrap up with the unique multimedia theatre presentation, “Tour of Duty”.
